Shri.Kashinathrao Parvatrao Khutwad has changed the situation in rural areas. He started his career as a 'Teacher'.
He was very much passionate about social work so he entered politics in the year 1972.
During his political career he looked after the charge of chairman, vice chairman, member of Bhor Panchayat samiti. He has developed Bhor Taluka by creating the schemes
for roads, water, electricity, farming etc. After a space of time he realized that only those things were not enough, something has to be done in the education field too.
He thought and decided to do something for children, specially for girls, they should not be deprived of education.
With this motive, he established 'Gunjavani Shikshan Sanshta' in 1989 at Hathwe.
The Motto of Sanshtwa is 'तेवो सदा ज्ञानमय प्रदिप'.
He started schools at Bhor and Velhe Talukas. In those days, many people shifted along with their families from Bhor and Velhe to Pune for their jobs.
Those people used to call and request him to help them to get admission. Everytime it was not possible to help them so he decided to open a school in Pune.
And he succeeded because of his hardwork and patience. After working hard, he purchased the land in Ambegaon BK.and he started Marathi Medium School in 1991.
People were happy and grateful to honorable Shri. Kashinathrao Khutwad. Schools were active successfully, and the number of students were increasing day by day.
So he thought about opening an English medium as well but people lost his leadership because of his demise.
After his demise, Mr. Vikram Khutwad, his son has shouldered his responsibilities as a president and Mrs. Trupti Khutwad, his daughter in law, started to look after the school as a secretary. Eventually his dream had come true after his demise. In 2010, Mr. Vikram Khutwad and Mrs. Trupti Khutwad started an English Medium School named 'Kashinathrao Khutwad Memorial School'.
